Should You Get a MacBook Air 2015 in 2023?
I actually watched this video on 2012 MacBook Pro 9,2. I bought it used a few months ago for $200 for a knockabout laptop. Put in a SSD, upgraded the RAM and replaced the non functioning SuperDrive all for under $80. Hell the battery in it still lasts quite awhile, especially now that it has an SSD. Aside from the display which is good enough for browsing/email/UA-cam, all in still a better deal to me than some bare bones ChromeBook for roughly the same price. More than snappy enough for my use case.
You should make a tutorial on how to install it, like install drive and some setting, thank you so much.
I am also a UA-camr with my own channel... this to say that I know when a video is done well and this one was nice to watch. I have a Macbook M3 Max but I am also curious to know how it would work to have an older MacBook. Thank you for your video. Ah I obviously subscribed to your channel.. it is nice to help each other to grow our channels!
Behringer 470 or Beyerdynamic DT240 Pro? Just for music listening, rock, blues.
Behringer 470 or Beyerdynamic DT240 Pro? Just for music listening, rock, blues.
The cables is not soldered internally, it uses a connector inside the the left earcup, but don't be confused people, the cable can't be unplugged like audio technica m50 headphones
It’s a 40mm driver, not 50 mm!
can i use vaseline
İs it hot swappable?
unfortunately not
this is the keyboard im using, ive got different coloured key caps for mine they are great for the price Ive had mine for about 4 years and its been great
Thanks for this review, very useful since it's a long-term review, just what I needed!
Any alternative at this or near this price point?
Does this model support react native environment please guide me I am thinking about to buy new one but my budget is low so I think you can give me a good suggestion
Please what condenser mic can I buy in 2024
Don’t know if you still come to this video, but is it good for Animations, Editing, and basic work in general?
it’s ok, not great. Depends what software you use aswell
@@TechRaccoonGG Oh okay, thanks!
Still using it it works flawlessly
Can I use it to make professional music audio?
yes
I have a pebble time watch, but how I manage wallpaper.
Thanks bro ♥️
Have you tried SL 85S? I checked out a few videos but I can't quite tell the difference between this one and 84C.
I'm still using the HD 360 Pro. I wonder if the 280 are better or just the same.
I paid 220 USD for a late 2012 Macbook Pro with a 1tb SSD (Samsung 870 EVO I believe) and 16gb of ram. Works perfectly fine, 1080p for movies and basic games, I am really happy!
Now I installed Windows 10 dual boot with Catalina and works perfectly fine, all works (W11 works slow).
I am considering to purchase XM8500 or Wharfedale Pro DM 5.0, have you perhaps tried this microphone? It's in the same price range as Behringer ones.
hi david
hi rettacs

mine is perfect, its a great mic, but idk if i should get a new wire (probably) but for the later half of 4 years owning it, i can't even slightly touch the wire otherwise the connection (mainly on discord, but ruins all other sounds for a second) becomes faulty and i goes offline.
it could the be cable or the actual xlr port on the mic
@TechRaccoonGG well I bought a new wore that'll come Monday, so well see soin
if u loose the dongle can u connect it to a different one?
did u find an answer? i have lost it also
Please which sound interface you use for this recording? the sound is very good.
i’m using the behringer uphoria um2 interface
omg still posting since ive seen ur vid about xm8500 being similar to sm7b
You shure yours is not fake? The noise is quite high and pop filter seems from one of the fake ones, you can check video comparisons
it’s real
Bro I have approximately 500 budget and I wanted to buy a refurbished iMac laptop from Amazon. Can you give me any recommendations? Thanks you.
Super cool mate. I have a HHKB Pro 2, Apex Pro Mini, GBoards Georgi, and I thought I'd pick this notorious bouard up for a bit of fun. It definitely has problems, eg the stabilizers, font some of the weird button maps, and of course ISO enter, but overall it's a fun board to type on. Sounds like a machinegun though, and has a little metallic twang from the spacebar. Very cool mod you did with the lube, I wouldn't have thought of doing it on such a cheap board. I think it would be interesting to try some harder caps eg ceramic too. Cheers
I still use my 13 inch Retina MBP 2015 with 16gb Ram and this machine still serve me well in my daily tasks.. I mainly using this machine for editing 1080p videos and editing photos also I use this for my Virtual Instrument every Sunday, and Idk why MBP from 2011 to 2015 generation I believe is the greatest MBP for sure.. also with the help of Open Core Legacy Patcher, MAN! this old machines can keep up with the newer model.. For those who wants to buy your first MacBook laptops I suggest you go with 16GB of RAM, for older machine like MBP from 2011 to 2015, grab the 16GB ram, trust me you will never regret your decision.
Can confirm. I've used this mic many years ago and switched over to Rode Podmic precisely because of the hum the C-1 had developed. I tried everything, new cables, grounding, even the good 'ol jiggling the cable around too and it didn't seem to have any effect at all. But sometimes the mic would go all normal after 10 min or so but if even touched lightly would start humming again. It's a good sounding mic but I wouldn't recommend it because of this issue, I thought it was just me but apparently it's one of the faults of this thing.
the usb problem, i think they intentionally designed it this way to avoid a usb loop with main mix level knob in it, which could create a positive feedback.
Thanks, I will buy a Maxfit61 once the Kmart one shows first signs of trouble. My Macbook gets a cover as I know coffee spillage will brick it. Kmart will replace it even if dropped from a skyscraper, just turn up on a Sunday when the highschool kids work there.
After owning around 100 keyboards, ( I started with a Commodore VIC20) I bought this keyboard for share trading. Here a mistake can cost thousands. So when I enter a share ticker I know for sure when a key has registered. Also being wired avoids a missing letter upon wakeup. I hate the purple colour on the 5,6, and 7 key as they are just too dark. Chucked it onto a Macbook M1 for speed and the clicks are nice music to me. The small footprint allows me to work at a mini desk. My missus is more annoyed about night time when the Macbook thinks to talk to the router and for unknown reasons turns the lights on on this keyboard. Probably the best 25 bucks I ever spent on Kmart. Maybe I can donate some genuine Dell keyboards to you, or the worst were them Urbanworx from Coles. Maybe I should make a video how I destroy one of them with a sledge hammer.
i literally cant even use netflix on chrome and there is no apps on the app store that are still around today, idk whats different about mine
I own a similar behringer bh470nc's, is it normal for it to make kind of a crackling/clicking noise when i apply pressure? (usually when putting them on)
for $40.... Fugg yes. These headphones are a steal. just got mine and i can not be happier.
Great video, thank you 👍
Thanks for watching!
what was the thickness of the sheet number? thanks in advance ^^
3mm
ty!! @@TechRaccoonGG
I've had mine for almost 9 years, workes perfectly.. hum is a grounding issue, I had it and it was pretty intense but it went away as soon as I got a nicer cable.. I've got nicer microphones now but this is such a steal for a beginner and it can sound great.. just tested mine now again and it works like a charm.. That mic started my audio journey and few of my friends also.. probably the most important mic I have..
can you turn the rgb off? i just want it for a typing keyboard so i dont have to readjust my apex pro
you can turn the lighting off, but there isn't a white setting
i got this gifted from my uncle, ive already got the sm7b so im not going to be using it but i was thinking if itd be a good replacement for a blue yeti so my gf can use it
These are easily upgradable with the OCLP patcher and work well with Sonoma. Its also great for casual web browsing, watching films, writing papers, etc. Its not a power house nor will it do what a M series will do but it can easily be found for $150 or less. Someone in the comments mentioned Linux and this is excellent on Linux and if you still need Windows this runs Windows 11 via boot camp.
How does windows 11 preform on this machine? Do you happen to know?
Can v update ram to 16 gb?
This ting is a beast..had one before which got damaged after some intensive and nostalgia use...and now got a new one and about to upgrade ssd with legacy patcher to big sur...can't wait! currently using on OS X Lion and running chromeum as I type this and so far built a website and used chatgpt heavy!
I have this mic and Im trying to find a shock mount or regular mount that will fit it. Do you know any?
Хочу купить этие наушники как повседневные, для прослушивания музыки
Watching this video on a MBP mid 2012 which runs macos sonoma 14.3.1 and i agree with the creator of this video , the fact that this MBP is fully upgradable is amazing. Max out ram and throw an SSD on it and this machine is good for few more years !!
Watching this video on mines with Ventura. I really like to use this as a casual use machine
